Write both short and feature-length outdoors, sports and travel articles for Canoe & Kayak, ANG Newspapers, and the Los Angeles Times. Subjects so far include abalone diving, extreme ocean kayaking, South American travel, 83-year-old ice hockey players, tree-sitting, flight lessons, and the world championships of elk bugling.
